Chunking Books is also an online bookstore, run by Sören Schuhmacher that specializes in 20th-century avant-garde, art theory, cinema, photography, and graphic design. Our approach goes beyond the book itself, as we provide a unique perspective on diverse topics through online/offline exhibitions and catalogs, presenting them in dialogue with other media forms.
The term chunking is taken from cognitive psychology and describes the process in which a large piece of information is subdivided into small units (chunks) and then grouped back together as a meaningful whole.
